Saudi Aramco plans to invest $150 billion over the next ten years to increase natural gas production to 23 billion cubic feet per day, said Amin Nasser, president and CEO of the state oil company.

“This is an exciting time for the GCC’s chemical and petrochemical businesses. It can become a key driver of the region’s diversification efforts,” he said in his keynote speech during the 13th annual GPCA Forum in Dubai today.

“The chemicals sector in the GCC will play a vital role in creating more jobs in the region,” he further added.
