Southern Cement to export 20,000 tons to Yemen

Southern Province Cement Co. won on Oct. 21, 2018 a contract to export 20,000 tons of cement to Yemen, the firm said in a statement to Tadawul today.

The three-month deal is effective from the date of the first shipment of 7,000 tons of cement, which coincided Dec. 3, the statement said.

The value of the deal was not disclosed, but according to the cement producer, the deal is expected to have marginal financial impact due to limited export quantity.

The deal has no related parties, it added.
