Uber started trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on May 10 after setting the share price at $45 and raising $8.1 billion in the biggest U.S. initial public offering (IPO) in five years, Reuters reported.
The ride-hailing firm’s market value has reached $82.4 billion, and will be trading under symbol UBER.
CEO Dara Khosrowshahi has attended the Opening Bell at the NYSE.
According to data compiled by Argaam, Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, Public Investment Fund (PIF), is an investor in Uber.
