Saudi banks’ NPLs decline 9% in 2025; credit portfolio up 11%

Saudi banks’ non-performing loans (NPLs) decreased by 9% to SAR 32.7 billion in 2025, from SAR 35.75 billion a year earlier, according to data compiled by Argaam.

However, the NPLs coverage ratio rose to 136% in 2025, compared to 133% in 2024
