Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co.’s (AICC) net profit dropped 43.2% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 4.45 million in Q1 2025, from SAR 7.84 million.

The company posted lower profits, mainly due to lower YoY insurance revenue. This resulted from a drop in the revenues from motor and medical segments, despite the increase in insurance revenues from the engineering segment.

 

Net insurance results decreased by approximately SAR 7.9 million, and other income fell nearly SAR 1.6 million, despite a decline in other operating expenses of SAR 5.1 million in Q1 2025.

 

Sequentially, the insurer turned to profitability compared to a loss of SAR 4.47 million in Q4 2024.
