Revenue rose 8.1% in 2025 to SAR 10.2 billion compared with SAR 9.4 billion the previous year, driven by retail growth of 6.2% year-on-year (YoY) and strong performance in the healthcare and UAE retail segments.
Gross profit also increased 8.3% YoY to SAR 3.8 billion, while maintaining a steady gross margin of 37.3% despite continued investments in strategic initiatives.
In addition, operating profit rose by 6.1% YoY to SAR 926.5 million, supported by new pharmacy openings, expansion in healthcare and UAE retail, and digital transformation investments that partially offset higher operating expenses.
A reversal of a non-recurring Zakat provision of SAR 17.8 million was recorded in Q1 2025.
The profit rise was partially offset by SAR 43.3 million in other post-operating items, mainly due to higher bank charges and lease-related interest expenses linked to supporting sales growth and business expansion.
