Revenues rose supported by a 1% increase in pipe sales and a 46% rise in other materials sales (recycling materials) during the current period.
However, earnings came under pressure due to a lower discount rate on raw material purchases following a decline in purchases from Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC).
The previous year included one-off capital gains of SAR 9.6 million from the sale of the company’s 100% stake in Shawcor Composite Pipe Systems Middle East Ltd.’s (Shawcor CPS) factory.
