The losses were mainly driven by a 23% decline in revenue, primarily due to a 60% year-on-year (YoY) drop in the real estate segment, as most projects were nearing completion with no new developments launched.
The real estate segment also recorded a loss of SAR 55 million, compared to a net profit of SAR 84.4 million a year earlier, impacted by delays in sales at the Al-Usaylah project (Al Malqa suburb) in Makkah, as well as the lack of newly awarded government projects exceeding SAR 1.35 billion.
Despite this, the company partially mitigated the impact through improved performance across other segments. Revenue from the contracting, industrial, and services segments grew by 36%, 22%, and 10%, respectively. The contracting segment also narrowed its losses to SAR 27.7 million from SAR 41.8 million in 2024.
Meanwhile, the industrial segment reported higher net profit of SAR 22.9 million, compared to SAR 20.8 million a year earlier, while the services segment saw net profit rise to SAR 4.8 million from SAR 2.6 million, supported by improved operational performance.
