Americana Restaurants International PLC reported a net profit rise of 16% to SAR 346.8 million for the first half of 2025, compared to SAR 299.9 million in the year-earlier period.

The profit increase was supported by a 16% top-line growth year-on-year (YoY) driven by business recovery across key markets and a rise in the number of restaurants to 2,638 during H1 2025, as 36 restaurants opened and 46 additional Pizza Hut Oman branches merged.

 

EBITDA increased to SAR 1.03 billion, representing a 17.9% growth YoY, driven by higher sales despite the increase in delivery rates.

 

The company maintained a net profit margin of 7.6%, in line with last year, despite the implementation of new tax regulations amounting to $8.2 million in key markets during 2025.

 

Additionally, the net profit for H1 2024 included non-recurring positive items amounting to $7.2 million, primarily related to marketing cost exemptions received in Q1 2024 and settled in subsequent quarters.

The second-quarter net earnings increased by 15% to SAR 224.4 million, from SAR 194.7 million in Q2 2024.


Compared to Q1 2025, Americana’s net earnings leapt 83.3% from SAR 151.6 million.


Shareholders’ equity, after minority interest, reached SAR 1.35 billion as of June 30, 2025, up from SAR 1.25 billion a year earlier.
