The profit decline was attributed to the implementation of the company’s expansion plan and the launch and operation of Phase 1 of the plant. This led to higher start-up and operating expenses related to production activities, including the hiring of qualified technical staff.
Qomel also pointed to increased product registration costs to support its expansion—particularly into the private sector—aimed at gaining market share, in addition to the recruitment of new sales and marketing teams.
Revenues increased year-on-year in 2025 due to the expansion of business activities and higher volumes of deliveries/supplies.
