TALCO stated that the profit decline during the current period was attributed to higher cost of sales (COS), selling and marketing expenses, general and administrative expenses, impairment of receivables, and financing costs (FCs).
This was partially offset by an increase in sales value to SAR 379.63 million, driven by higher sales volumes in the core aluminum segment as well as the accessories segment, in addition to rising selling prices in the powder coating segment.
Additionally, the company reported an increase in other income and a decrease in Zakat expenses.
