Development Works Food Co. turned to a net profit of SAR 1.3 million in 2024, after minority interest, from SAR 5.2 million in net losses a year earlier.

Net profit, before minority interest, reached SAR 1.3 million by the end of 2024, compared to SAR 5.1 million in 2023.

 

The annual profit growth was driven by a 9% year-on-year (YoY) increase in the 2024 sales, attributed to the launch of a new brand during the year.

 

Additionally, lower direct expenses related to the cost of sales, along with the reduced general & administrative expenses, contributed to Development Works Food’s return to profitability in 2024.

 

In Q4 2024, the company trimmed its loss to SAR 1.3 million, compared to SAR 3.3 million in Q4 2023.
