The decline in profit was mainly attributed to pre-operating expenses for new “Beef Shots” branches, along with higher general and administrative (G&A) expenses, which impacted net earnings during the period.

This was partially offset by higher revenues, driven by strong sales growth from the “Juice Time” and “Beef Shots” brands, as well as improved performance of the “Quiznos” brand.
