Saudi Cement Co. posted a 15% decline in net profit to SAR 257.2 million for the first nine months of 2025, compared to SAR 301.3 million in the year-earlier period.

The company attributed the profit decline mainly to lower average selling prices, higher general and administrative (G&A) expenses, reduced other income, a smaller contribution from an associate, and higher Zakat.

 

This was despite increased sales revenue and lower selling, distribution, and financing costs.

The cement producer's Q3 2025 profit retreated 46.9% to SAR 53.2 million, compared to SAR 100.2 million a year earlier.

 

Compared to Q2 2025, net profit declined 44.3% from SAR 95.5 million.

 

Shareholders’ equity, no minority interest, reached SAR 2.115 billion as of Sept. 30, 2025, slightly down from SAR 2.116 billion a year earlier.
