The increased losses were attributed to a 9% year-on-year (YoY) decline in the first-half revenues, coupled with assets impairment for two subsidiaries.
Additionally, Chemanol recognized SAR 94.5 million in incremental provisions. The parent company also recorded a SAR 71.8 million operating loss in the six-month period.
In the second quarter, the company slid into a deeper loss of SAR 427.26 million, compared to SAR 28.28 million in Q2 2024.
Quarter-on-quarter, the three-month net loss also soared from SAR 40.47 million in Q1 2025.
