Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. swung to a net loss of SAR 78.1 million in 2025, from net earnings of SAR 439.8 million a year before.

These losses were attributed to the postponement of supply for certain internal projects by some customers, which led to a decline in sales. This postponement is expected to have a positive impact on the sales pipeline in the coming years.

 

Furthermore, the company recorded provisions related to foreign investments as a result of the shutdown of the manufacturing facility in Poland due to the Russian–Ukrainian war. It also took a hedging provision as a result of the restructuring of some offshore associates.

On a sequential basis, losses soared from SAR 5.1 million in Q3 2025.

 

Total shareholders’ equity, after minority interest, stood at SAR 849.8 million by the end of 2025, compared to SAR 880.7 million in 2025.
