National Gypsum Co. widened its loss to SAR 30.8 million in 2025, from SAR 12.7 million a year earlier.

The wider losses were attributed to a decline in the net value and volume of gypsum sales, as well as an increase in the costs of production inputs, and general and administrative expenses for the same year.

 

The company conducted an assessment of property, plant, and equipment, which resulted in the recognition of impairment losses worth SAR 22.54 million in the 2025 income statement.

 

Net losses deepened in Q4 2025 to SAR 33.4 million, from SAR 4.54 million in the year-earlier period.

 

Meanwhile, the company had posted a net profit of SAR 860,000 in Q3 2025.
