SIDC widens losses to SAR 17.7M in H1 2025, SAR 8.3M in Q2

Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SIDC) widened its net losses to SAR 17.7 million in the first half of 2025, from SAR 8.6 million in the year-ago period.

SIDC attributed the higher losses year-on-year to lower sales due to a decline in revenue from the mattress and foam segment.

 

The second-quarter net losses also deepened by 11.6% to SAR 8.3 million, from SAR 7.4 million in Q2 2024, on a drop in the quarterly sales of the mattress and foam segment.

On a sequential basis, however, net losses narrowed by 12.1% from SAR 9.4 million in Q1 2025.

 

Shareholders’ equity, after minority interest, dropped to SAR 54.04 million as of June 30, 2025, compared to SAR 79.81 million a year earlier.

 

Accumulated losses reached SAR 23.06 million by the end of the six-month period, representing 17.08% of the company’s capital.
