The profit decline was attributed to weak performance of Portman, as well as impairments related to Portman acquisitions.
Revenues increased by 2% year-on-year to SAR 1.10 billion, driven by an 11% growth in the hospitality segment, 8% rise in the Portman business, and a 7% increase from the Lumi car rental segment. The Almosafer travel platform segment recorded a modest 1% revenue increase.
Sequentially, Seera turned to net earnings from net losses of SAR 312 million in Q4 2024.
Shareholders’ equity, after minority interest, reached SAR 5.99 billion at the end of Q1 2025, compared to SAR 6.71 billion in the year-earlier period.
