Al-Babtain Power and Telecommunication Co. reported a net profit increase of 70.5% to SAR 453 million in 2025, compared to SAR 265.7 million a year earlier.

This was spurred by significantly improved operating costs, and lower financing expenses. Worth noting that net profit, excluding investment property gains, increased by 108% year-on-year (YoY) in 2025, as the corresponding period included SAR 47.7 million in gains from selling investment properties.

Q4 2025 net earnings amounted to SAR 139.7 million, compared to SAR 84.9 million in a year earlier period.

 

On a quarterly basis, net earnings grew 9.7% from SAR 127.3 million in Q3 2025.

 

Total shareholders’ equity (excluding minority interest) amounted to SAR 1.3 billion as of Dec. 31, 2025, compared to SAR 1.07 billion in a year earlier period.
