Sinad Holding Co. narrowed its losses to SAR 5.8 million in H1 2025, from SAR 13.1 million in the same period last year.

The improved six-month performance was due to lower general and administrative expenses and higher other operating income, alongside a pullback in foreign exchange (forex) losses and Zakat expenses.

 

However, in H1 2025, sales declined year-on-year (YoY), primarily due to the impact of currency depreciation at an Egypt-based subsidiary, despite the increase in the latter’s sales in Egyptian pound. In addition, Saudi-based subsidiaries reported lower sales during the same period.

In Q2 2025, the company turned to a net loss of SAR 3 million, from earnings of SAR 900,000 a year earlier, due to lower operating profits for the quarter.

 

On a quarterly basis, Sinad's three-month losses increased from SAR 2.7 million in Q1 2025.

 

Shareholders' equity, excluding minority interest, soared to SAR 1.17 billion as of July 30, 2025, compared to SAR 979.1 million a year ago.
