The improved six-month performance was due to lower general and administrative expenses and higher other operating income, alongside a pullback in foreign exchange (forex) losses and Zakat expenses.
However, in H1 2025, sales declined year-on-year (YoY), primarily due to the impact of currency depreciation at an Egypt-based subsidiary, despite the increase in the latter’s sales in Egyptian pound. In addition, Saudi-based subsidiaries reported lower sales during the same period.
