Jabal Omar Development Co. (Jabal Omar) reported a net profit of SAR 2.39 billion in 2025, a surge from SAR 200.1 million a year earlier.

The positive performance was driven by an 11% increase in revenue due to the improved performance of the hotels and commercial centers. Hotel revenues increased by 17% or SAR 278 million, while revenue from commercial centers grew by 23% or SAR 40 million.

 

During 2025, the company reported higher gain on land sale amounting to SAR 1.57 billion compared to the previous year, reversal of impairment losses on assets amounting to SAR 354 million and a decrease in finance costs of SAR 148 million.

 

Meanwhile, the developer saw SAR 59 million decrease in Zakat expense, lower general and administrative expenses by SAR 51 million and a decline of SAR 37 million in expected credit losses.

 

The company also noted that net profit for 2025, excluding the net gain from the land sale booked in 2024, rose by 113% to SAR 73 million, compared to a net loss of SR 548 million in the previous year.

Q4 2025 net earnings grew to SAR 1.29 billion, from SAR 351.4 million in the year-earlier period.

 

On a sequential basis, the three-month profit increased more than five folds from SAR 197.85 million in Q3 2025.

 

Total shareholders’ equity, excluding minority interest, stood at SAR 15.86 billion by Dec. 31, 2025, compared to SAR 13.46 billion a year earlier.
