Basic Chemical Industries Co. (BCI) reported a net profit after minority interest of SAR 17 million in 2025, compared to SAR 9 million a year ago.

Net profit before minority interest rose to SAR 40.95 million in 2025, compared to SAR 40.39 million in the same period of 2024.

 

The profit growth was mainly driven by lower financing costs, a decline in general and administrative expenses, and a decrease in Zakat and tax expenses.

 

However, this was partially offset by a decline in revenues during the current year compared to the previous year.

 

Q4 2025, net earnings surged 68.4% to SAR 6.40 million, versus SAR 3.80 million in Q4 2024.

 

On a sequential basis, net earnings declined 34.7% from SAR 9.8 million in Q3 2025.
