Methanex Corp., the world’s largest producer and supplier of methanol, increased its Asian contract price (ACP) for October by $50 month-on-month (MoM) to $510 per ton.
These prices are the highest since November 2018.

The company gives an average of 15% discount to buyers compared to contract prices.
The spot price in China, the world’s biggest importer of methanol, reached $355 per ton, according to data compiled by Argaam.
