Middle East healthcare company (MEAHCO) was founded in 2004 as a closed joint stock company, in the city of Jeddah, with a capital of SAR 590 million, which is owned by the Batterjee family of more than 50 %(owner-founder).
The company operates on the ownership, management and operation of hospitals,the company has ownership and management of four hospitals in the cities of Jeddah, Riyadh, Medina and Asir under the trade name "Saudi German hospital", also a new hospital in the city of Hail (under construction) through Hail National Health Services Company which is owned by about 32%.
The company is also active in the field of purchasing and supply tools and medical devices and consumables through "Abdul Jalil Batterjee sons" its wholly-owned subsidiary.
