Saudi German Health says Makkah hospital’s construction complete

The construction work of Saudi German Hospital-Makkah (SGH-Makkah) is complete, including the installation of medical and other equipment, Middle East Healthcare Co. (Saudi German Health) said in a statement to Tadawul today, June 27.

 

The company will announce the date of actual operation and the financial impact after receiving the final approval from the Ministry of Health.

 

SGH-Makkah is planned as a multi-specialty tertiary care hospital, with a capacity of 300 beds and 100 outpatient clinics. It is located on Ibrahim Al Khalil Road in Waliu Aleahd District of Makkah.

 

The hospital consists of inpatient and outpatient facilities, critical care units, operating rooms and laboratories in addition to other support functions.

 

According to the data available with Argaam, SGH-Makkah’s construction started in 2018.
