Jazan Energy and Development Co. (JAZADCO) reported a 23% rise in the 2021 net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 13.3 million, from SAR 10.8 million a year earlier.

The profit rise was driven by production efficiency to reduce and control costs. The company also penetrated new international markets for aquaculture products, and improved the aquaculture practice and shrimp production. JAZADCO also raised production capacity by 13% compared to last year. The company adopted new methods for sales and marketing.
The company’s Q4 2021 net profit after Zakat and tax dropped 9% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 1.1 million.
On a sequential basis, Q4 2021 net profit fell by 54.6% from SAR 2.35 million.
