Makkah Construction halts Umrah services unit for restructuring

Makkah Construction and Development Co.’s board of directors decided on Nov. 27 to suspend the operations of Makkah for Umrah Services for one year, the company said in a bourse filing on Thursday.

The Umrah services unit will undergo internal restructuring to provide better services to clients.

Makkah Construction said it does not expect a negative financial impact from the decision, adding that more developments will be announced later on.
