The investment originally cost SAR 19.05 million ($5.08 million), resulting in a net gain of SAR 15.98 million ($4.26 million). The financial impact will be recorded in the Q2 2025 results.

MIS said the sale supports its strategy to reallocate capital toward new investment opportunities.

In January 2024, the company allocated SAR 40 million to build a self-funded portfolio focused on global AI firms, according to data from Argaam.

That same month, MIS had invested SAR 18.75 million ($5 million) in Anthropic as part of this initiative.
