Saudi Arabia closes August domestic sukuk issuance worth SAR 2.3 bln

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Finance has closed its August 2019 sukuk issuance under the government’s riyal-denominated sukuk program, with the issuance size set at SAR 2.261 billion, the ministry said in a statement.

 

The issuance was divided into three tranches as follows:

 

The first tranche was valued at SAR 1.415 billion, bringing the total tranche size to SAR 4.183 billion, maturing in 2024.

 

The second tranche was worth SAR 258 million, bringing the total tranche size to SAR 2.628 billion tranche, maturing in 2028.

 

The third tranche amounted to SAR 588 million, bringing the total tranche size to SAR 9.109 billion, maturing in 2034.
