Seera Group Holding CEO Abdullah Al-Dawood said the outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) would affect the travel industry, but that impact is still “unpredictable”.
He added in a statement to Argaam that the group will take the required precautionary measures amid the current situation.
The Saudi-listed travel group will continue its sound management and close monitoring of the situation, while taking any necessary measures in light of the current conditions.
Seera has strong liquidity to finance its operations, Al-Dawood stressed.
Seera posted a net profit of SAR 189 million in 2019, against a net loss of SAR 142 million a year earlier.
