Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said that the Kingdom has made a noticeable progress in employing women, indicating that within only two years, the Saudi women’s rate of who work or seek to find work has increased.

This came during her co-chairing, with Minister of Finance, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, the Ministerial Conference of the Kingdom's presidency of the G20 on "Enhancing access to opportunities in Arab countries".

She further explained that the Kingdom had introduced legislation against discrimination in the workplace, and prohibited wage discrimination based on gender, age, or any other factors.

Continuing to implement these measures will be the final determinant of success, she noted.
