Saudi Arabia to continue COVID preventive measures until June 2021: official

Saudi Arabia will keep COVID-19 precautionary measures, including masks in force until June 2021, Hani Jokhdar, Deputy Minister for Public Health, told Al-Arabiya TV.

 

In case vaccination was received by 50-60% of the Kingdom’s population, the Kingdom may start easing the preventive measures.

 

The coronavirus vaccination campaign is one of the biggest campaigns on the levels of the Kingdom and the world, Jokhdar said, affirming that the world has never witnessed such a huge crisis before.

 

On Dec. 17, Saudi Arabia launched the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, Argaam reported.
