Digital economy policy adds competitive edge to Saudi industrial, mining sectors: ministry

The launch of Saudi Arabia's digital economy policy helps to adopt the Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies in the industrial and mining sectors and raises their competitive edge, said the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources in a statement.

 

Furthermore, this will create qualitative job opportunities that appeal to citizens and contribute to the digital economic development, to achieve Vision 2030 objectives.

 

The Cabinet approved on Dec. 29, 2020, the Kingdom's digital economy policy, according to Argaam's data.
