Saudi – Chinese Business Council conducts studies on attracting Chinese investments

Saudi – Chinese Business Council (SCBC) conducted a comprehensive study on attracting Chinese investments as part of its efforts to localize and transfer the leading Chinese expertise and technologies, said SCBC chairman Mohamed Alajlan.

 

During a workshop to discuss the prospects for Saudi – Chinese economic ties, Alajlan said the council plays a great role in developing trade ties between the two countries.

 

On the other hand, Faisal Al-Sugair, CEO of the Saudi Center for International Strategic Partnerships (SCISP), said China is an important strategic partner of the Kingdom, indicating that the Kingdom is looking forward to strengthening the role of the Saudi and Chinese private sectors in developing partnerships and investing the available opportunities.

 

The participants discussed the investment and partnership opportunities between Saudi Arabia and China in the sectors of industry, information technology, communications, industrial equipment, spare parts, tourism and chemicals, in addition to the available challenges and solutions. They stressed the importance of the private sector's role in international strategic partnerships.
