Saudi Arabia records 695 COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 695 COVID-19 cases today, April 5, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 393,377, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 489, raising the total number of recovered cases to 380,305 (97% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 6,368, of which 836 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported seven new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,704.

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 56,906 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 15.41 million.

 

More than 5.06 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 289, followed by Makkah (151), Eastern Province (108), Madinah (29) and Asir (21).
