Saudi Arabia records 1,320 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,320 COVID-19 cases today, May 26, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 444,780, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 873, raising the total number of recovered cases to 427,462 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 10,023, of which 1,348 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 17 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,295.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 404, followed by Riyadh (343), Eastern Province (164), Madinah (120), Jazan (60) and Al Qassim (52).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 93,150 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 18.79 million.

 

More than 13.33 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
