Saudi Arabia records 1,207 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,207 COVID-19 cases today, July 7, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 496,516, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,195, raising the total number of recovered cases to 476,643 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 11,952, of which 1,379 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 14 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,921.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 307, followed by Eastern Province (264), Makkah (222), Asir (184), Jazan (67), Najran (46), Tabuk (28) and Madinah (23).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 111,720 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 22.6 million.

 

Almost 18.97 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
