Saudi Arabia records 1,334 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,334 COVID-19 cases today, July 28, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 522,108, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,079, raising the total number of recovered cases to 502,528 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 11,380, of which 1,409 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 11 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,200.

 

Eastern Province reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 271, followed by Riyadh (260), Makkah (239), Asir (127), Al Qassim (86), Jazan (82), and Madinah (67).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 108,460 new tests, and the total number of administered doses increased to 25.64 million.
