Saudi Arabia records 1,075 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,075 COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 3, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 528,952, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,113, raising the total number of recovered cases to 510,107 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 10,575, of which 1,433 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 11 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,270.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 209, followed by Eastern Province (188), Riyadh (184), Jazan (107), Asir (89), and Madinah (70).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 110,250 new tests, and the total number of administered doses increased to 28.02 million.
