Saudi Arabia records 850 COVID-19 cases on Saturday

Saudi Arabia recorded 850 COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 7, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 532,785, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 975, raising the total number of recovered cases to 514,362 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 10,103, of which 1,404 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 9 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,320.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 166, followed by Riyadh (143), Eastern Province (128), Asir (88), Jazan (81), Al Qassim (55), and Madinah (48).
