Saudi Arabia imports SAR 4.7 bln worth of commodities from GCC countries in July: GASTAT

Saudi Arabia imported SAR 4.7 billion worth of commodities from the GCC countries, down 3% year-on-year (YoY) in July 2021, data of the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed. 

 

UAE accounted for 66%, or SAR 3.07 billion of the GCC total exports to Saudi Arabia, down 6% YoY in July. 

 

Compared to June 2021, Saudi imports from the GCC retreated 21%, or SAR 1.24 billion.
