Petro Rabigh enters into joint agreement with SABIC, Aramco to market petrochemicals

Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (Petro Rabigh) signed today, Sept. 29, a joint agreement with Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) and Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), according to a bourse filing.

 

Under the agreement, SABIC will promote Saudi Aramco's share of Petro Rabigh’s petrochemical products, starting Oct. 1.

 

This agreement aims to improve supply chain efficiency and boost the company’s competitiveness among peers in the petrochemicals industry.

 

The deal is forecast to reflect positively on the company, but the impact cannot be determined at present, the statement added.
