Saudi Arabia scales up readiness to confront COVID-19 variants

Fahad Al-Jalajel, Saudi Minister of Health, said the Kingdom is closely following up the measures taken everywhere in the world to combat COVID-19 and its variants. 
 

He added that the ministry scaled up readiness at all levels, calling on all citizens to complete immunization and adhere to precautions to ensure their safety. 
 

The Kingdom took some precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the new variant Omicron through suspending travel with 14 African countries.
