Amlak International appoints 2 new audit committee members after one resigns

Amlak International for Real Estate Finance Co. announced that audit committee member, Khaled Abdulaziz Alrayes, resigned effective as of Jan. 23, according to a bourse filing.

 

The resignation came in line with the Saudi Central Bank’s (SAMA) governance principles, which stipulate that most of the audit committee members should be non-board directors.

 

The company appointed Ali Sulaiman Al-Ayed and Abdulrazzak Mohammed Elkhraijy as audit committee members, effective today, Jan. 24.

 

Al-Ayed holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and has more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector, while Elkhraijy is a Saudi banker with more than 30 years of experience.

 

These appointments are subject to the approval of the upcoming general meeting, the statement added.
