Saudi Arabia nears end of COVID-19 pandemic: Deputy Health Minister

Abdullah Asiri, Deputy Minister of Health for Preventive Health, said that Saudi Arabia is close to returning to normal after the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The end of the pandemic is near. Its impact on man and economy is at minimum. We are very close to normal post-pandemic life,” Asiri told Akhbaar 24.

 

The number of COVID-19 infections retreated in the last few days after reaching a peak in early 2022. The Ministry of Health announced 841 new COVID-19 cases today, Feb. 22, he added.
