Saudi Transport Ministry to investigate KAIA flight delays

Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Saleh Al-Jasser ordered the formation of an emergency investigation committee to probe into delays of some Umrah flights at King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) over the previous days.

 

The committee, which is chaired by the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), includes a number of entities, state-owned Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

 

Investigations are being held into the cause of flight delays, and to define the necessary regulatory measures to maintain high-quality services. The results of investigations as well as recommendations will be submitted in a week maximum.
