FDI inflows to Saudi Arabia rise 10% to $2 bln in Q1 2022

Foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows to Saudi Arabia grew 10% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 7.4 billion (or $2 billion) in the first quarter of 2022, according to the Ministry of Investment.

 

Nominal gross fixed capital formation reached SAR 225 million, a rise of over 27% YoY.

 

The total number of closed investment deals stood at 101 at a total value of SAR 15.2 billion, as shown in the following table:
