Health Minister says no signs found for virulence of XBB variant

Saudi Minister of Health, Fahad Al-Jalajel, said the ministry is following up on all developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, adding that there are no signs of the XBB variant’s virulence and severity so far.

 

The minister highlighted the importance of completing the administration of vaccines, noting that they are effective against mutations.

 

He also stressed the importance of adhering to the instructions of the Ministry of Health and the Public Health Authority, as well as applying the preventive measures.
