Saudi imports from GCC up 18% in Q1 2023

Saudi Arabia imported SAR 19.9 billion worth of commodities from the GCC countries, up 18% year-on-year (YoY), in Q1 2023, data from the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed.

 

The UAE accounted for 61%, or SAR 12.2 billion, of the GCC's total exports to Saudi Arabia, up 24% YoY in Q1 2023.
